Interview with Swimming Science

On June 8, 2012, in General, swimming, by jcubos

Recently, I was interviewed by John Mullen of Swimming Science about my thoughts on and current work with swimmers.

In this interview, we talk about some exercises I feel swimmers would benefit from, as well as the role of rehabilitation and strength & conditioning professionals, amongst other topics.

From our communications over the last year and in reading some of his work, I was glad to share my opinions. John has devoted a lot of his time to translating the research and understanding the biomechanics with regards to swimming, and recently released The COR Swimmer’s Shoulder System, a nice little resource for therapists and coaches in this sport.

If you’re involved in the sport, I encourage you to check out the site. And if you missed the link to the interview above, you’ll find it here.
